February 17, 2010 (CAP Newswire) – Sega Games, manager of new online gaming hotspots SegaCasino.com and SegaPoker.com, has recently announced that it has signed a deal with independent online payment provider Neovia Financial’s Neteller e-wallet solution.
This marks the latest move in a significant expansion for Neteller, which recently announced a deal with Sky Betting And Gaming’s SkyBet.com, SkyPoker.com, SkyVegas.com and SkyBingo.com sites, as well.
Given the recent buzz around the new Sega gaming sites, this will likely help Neteller gain an even stronger foothold in the online casino world. SegaCasino.com and SegaPoker.com are new on the online gaming scene and much talked about, offering the usual casino and poker fare such as roulette, blackjack, and Texas hold ‘em poker, but with the twist of being branded with Sega’s popular video game characters.
Although the online gambling controversy in the U.S. doesn’t affect SegaCasino.com and SegaPoker.com since those sites aren’t available to U.S. citizens, this news still seems particularly timely given the recent MasterCard online gambling crackdown and the movement of online gamers to shift from credit card payments to e-wallet payments — a shift that will likely go beyond U.S. borders.
“Sega is one of the world’s leading providers of online games and, for decades, has been one of the most trusted gaming conglomerates in the world. Having the Neteller e-wallet gives our players the assurance that we are providing an experience they can enjoy with the confidence that their money is safe and secure,” read a statement from Sega Games.
