Google Chrome
Introduced in 2008, Chrome is another in a long line of me, too innovations from the Internet overlords at Google. With a 31.2% market share Chrome is rapidly catching up with Explorer for browser dominance.
PROS: Chrome is a real workhorse that provides users with plenty of speed and just isn’t prone to crashing very often. That, and a very usable interface, make it a favorite amongst Internet power users. A feature called sandboxing allows each tab to work independently and increases security.
CONS: Though much of the Chrome code is open source, there still aren’t a lot of add-ons available. Also, does Google really need to dominate another corner of the Internet?
