The United Kingdom isn’t part of the European Union and, as such, can regulate foreign gaming interests any way they like. Recently, UK gaming regulators mentioned an interest in making certain that every gambling site doing business with Brits is licensed in the UK.
This could be a huge headache for international operators, but not many of them will be interested in losing out on one of the biggest gaming markets in the world.
