#11 – More States Legalize Online Poker
Nevada is leading the intrastate online poker charge, but they’re just the tip of the iceberg. A host of other states are scrambling to get in on the action and we’re thinking that most of them will be on board by the time it’s all said and done.
We’re not predicting that the online poker fight will be easy, because it most assuredly won’t be. There’s a host of special interests that must be served before gambling legislation of any kind gets passed anywhere and that will take some time.
But as soon as states see their neighbors reaping the revenue benefits of legal gaming, legislators will be tripping over themselves to get a piece of the legal poker action.
