November 4, 2009 (CAP Newswire) — Online poker software provider Playtech, which powers some of the world’s most popular Internet poker sites, such as Titan Poker, Casino Tropez, and Europa Casino, has announced the release of an upgraded version of its signature poker client.
The new client has already been deployed on iPoker, which Playtech claims to be the world's largest poker network, boasting “more than 35,000 concurrent players.”
“The new client boasts an innovative, intuitive design and a variety of exciting fresh tools and features,” Playtech stated in a news release “The new poker lobby welcomes players with an appealing, user-friendly interface. Improved, easy-to navigate search options enable players to find their game of choice swiftly and simply from a broad menu of cash tables, tournaments and casino side games.”
Claiming that the new design was created with player convenience in mind, Playtech lists as one of the most significant improvements a new multi-currency option, which makes funds available in British pounds, U.S. dollars, and the euro. This lets a wide variety of international players bypass the currency conversion process and play easily with their native funds.
There’s also a new “Auto top-up,” aimed at “maintaining game momentum”; a “five-step quick seat functionality enabling players to easily find a seat at the cash table or tournament of their choice”; a new hand-for-hand mode function; and much more.
