February 6, 2009 (InfoPowa News) — Online gambling group Party Gaming plc has inked a three-year global alliance with CIRSA Gaming Corporation S.A., an international gaming and leisure company, to cooperate in exploring and developing Internet gaming opportunities in Spanish-speaking countries.
Originally founded in 1978 as a manufacturer of slot machines, CIRSA has become a top offline gaming group with 13,000 employees and activities in more than 70 countries. CIRSA owns and operates bingo halls, casinos and amusement arcades. It has market leadership in Spain with 57 bingo clubs, four casinos and 139 amusement arcades. It has also established a strong presence in Latin and South America.
