February 3, 2010 (CAP Newswire) – European online gaming powerhouse PartyGaming continues to make headlines. A number of financial news services are reporting that the company’s sales jumped an enormous 32 percent (!) to $132.2 million during the fourth quarter of 2009.
This increase was certainly assisted by a number of big-name acquisitions made last year, such as PartyGaming’s deal with online bingo and casino operator Cashcade Ltd and the World Poker Tour (WPT) brand. But even excluding these acquisitions, “sales rose 12% year-on-year as its online casino games performed well and its sports betting operations were boosted by favourable sports results,” the Wall Street Journal reports.
Will this boost in PartyGaming’s popularity help affiliate marketers? It’s likely, but exact numbers haven’t yet been compiled.
