The word is out there, and it is that the largest social media site in the world, Facebook, is pondering whether or not to engage in real money wagering. Even though this has not been confirmed, it was stated that Facebook held serious meetings with Gamesys, one of the top online gambling games developer and with 888.com, the owners of the WSOP brand. These companies are potential candidates to join this venture if Facebook is to take off with it.
It is still dubious whether Facebook will engage in this, but if it does it would mean huge competition for all other online gambling sites. American citizens remain hopeless though, as they would be unable to access this feature due to local legislation.
