PokerStars Celebrates 10^th Anniversary
With all the ups and downs of the online gaming industry this year, PokerStars seems to be the site that’s ahead of everyone else. Their domain was seized earlier this year, and they handled the issue with a straight face and a lot of efficiency.
The site is closing 2011 celebrating its 10^th anniversary and having successfully dealt 75 billion hands. This accomplishment is even more remarkable considering that it took them from 2001 to 2007 to deal 10 billion hands. That means that in the four years to come the site dealt 60 million hands. In 2010, they celebrated their 50 billionth hand, so in 2011 the site has successfully dealt about 25 billion hands. Hats off to PokerStars and have a great 2012, and hopefully another wonderful decade!
