Facebook Will Stay Out Of The Online Gambling Industry
The rumor for 2011 was that Facebook is making plans to start offering real money online gambling services. Currently, Facebook runs Zynga’s application for Texas Hold’em and this application became one of the most used Facebook applications in the world.
It only makes sense that Facebook wants to buy into the online gambling craze that Zynga brought to Facebook users; however, we believe 2012 is still too early to see it happens, if it ever actually happens. However, for now it seems like Facebook has too many other things to deal with and to profit more, that getting involved with an issue that is legally unresolved in too many parts of the world might lose importance for the year to come.
Looks like the UK might be getting involved with Facebook, though.
