Online Gambling Dead Zones

The Middle East
The Middle East is a region teeming with a variety of ethnic groups which are spread across a number of different countries.
Despite this cultural variety, there’s one thing that pretty much every Middle Eastern country has in common; they don’t allow online gambling.
Between oil rich countries like Saudi Arabia and prosperous technology hubs like Israel, that’s a lot of potential customers who don’t have legal access to igaming. Some countries – including Saudi Arabia and Israel – even go so far as filtering and blocking gambling sites entirely.
How effective filters are is a matter of debate. Most Israelis, and even most Iranians have no trouble finding offshore gambling sites to take their action.
Given the influence of conservative religious elements across the region, regulated online gambling isn’t a likely prospect in most Middle Eastern countries.
