With the massive popularity of Indian Premiere League Cricket, interest in sports betting is skyrocketing in India, as are cases of match-fixing. That’s led to talk of legalization and regulation, but the Indian legislative process is notoriously slow so don’t expect legalization anytime soon.
The good news for affiliates is that tens of millions of Indians live outside India in countries where sports betting is legal – and many of them speak English) But if you want to legally promote online gambling to Indians in India,  you’re out of luck.
