Then, sometime in 1994, the first affiliate programs made driving traffic (and the profit that went with it) a group effort.
Most of those early affiliate programs centered on driving traffic to the booming online porn business, but the idea caught on quickly. By the late 1990’s, online gambling sites had embraced the idea and the casino affiliate business took off running.
