Ole Entraction!

November 18, 2008 (InfoPowa News) — The Swedish and Malta-based online poker provider and network Entraction has opened an office in Madrid, Spain to better meet the strong demand from Southern Europe. The firm anticipates that the gaming market will show an annual growth of more than 17 percent in Spain and France and 21 percent in Italy through to 2012.
 
Entraction has a number of existing partners and potential clients in Spain, making the country a natural choice for an office.
 
The company has recruited Missael Lundqvist, most recently a manager at the Swedish Trade Council in Madrid, for the position as Sales Executive Southern Europe. Lundqvist will focus on reaching agreements in ongoing discussions with potential partners in Spain as well as finding new business opportunities in Spain, France and Italy. Lundqvist's native language is Spanish and he holds two Master's degrees in science from Gothenburg School of Economics and Commercial Law.
 
"The establishment [of an office] in Spain is a cost-efficient way to reach new customers and tie existing customers closer to Entraction as well as a step in our strategy to grow in new markets," says Peter Åström, CEO of Entraction. "We have a fantastic development in Southern Europe, but we see potential for increased growth by local presence. The proximity to Gibraltar, which is a hub in the gaming world, is also a clear advantage."
