January 14, 2010 (CAP Newswire) — Continuing a saga that’s now lasted more than a year, a new hearing in the Kentucky online poker domain name controversy is scheduled for January 21.
After the main Kentucky courts ruled against the original domain name seizure, supported by Kentucky governor Steve Beshear, the case has been in appeals limbo for about a year. That should change next week, when the Kentucky Supreme Court issues a final ruling. (Unless the case is then taken to U.S. federal Supreme Court, which is possible.)
