NEW INTERACTIVE TV GAMBLING CHANNEL FOR VIRGIN Partnership with Two Way Media launches Challenge Jackpot Virgin Media TV launches its new interactive gambling channel, Challenge Jackpot, today (Tuesday July 1st) on its TV and online platforms. The venture is in partnership with production company Two Way Media, and joins Challenge, Bravo, Living, Trouble and Virgin1 in VMtv's portfolio of cross-platform entertainment brands. The Challenge Jackpot format allows viewers to play and bet on casino-style games through a round-the-clock television channel available to Virgin Media customers. After midnight, Virgin1 and Bravo 2 will also carry daily simulcasts of Challenge Jackpot for viewers in Freeview and Sky homes. Challenge Jackpot is the only dedicated interactive gaming service available on Virgin Media's interactive platform, and has its own website at Challenge Jackpot.com. Two Way Media will produce all Challenge Jackpot's live output. The channel carries at least eight hours of live studio games every day, with the flagship slot at launch Roulette Nation. Outside the live broadcast hours, viewers will be able to play along with a range of automated games such as Get Set Roulette, Face Up Hold 'Em and Hot Shot Keno. Jonathan Webb, the managing director of Virgin Media Television, explained: "Challenge Jackpot is the first step in reinventing our Challenge brand for the twenty-first century. We want this new channel to continue the values of fun and excitement that have long been synonymous with Challenge – but also to take the relationship with our viewers to the next level of interactivity."
