September 9, 2008 (InfoPowa News) — The European gaming operator Gaming VC has appointed Lee Feldman as non-executive chairman, in place of Adrian Smith. Feldman was previously a non-executive director of Gaming VC.
Feldman has wide executive experience and is a corporate lawyer by profession. He is a partner in Softbank Capital, a US private equity fund focused on technology and media, and has a wide knowledge of private equity investing as well as corporate and business development.
Prior to Softbank Capital, Feldman was Vice President of Corporate Development at Ziff-Davis, which was controlled by Softbank and prior to its sale in a series of transactions was a New York Stock Exchange listed media company focused on technology with annual revenue in excess of $1 billion.
Prior to Ziff-Davis, he was a member of the senior management team of two leveraged roll-ups, after commencing a career in corporate law with a major New York City law firm. He holds a BA and JD from Columbia University.
