Full Tilt Poker's flagship tournament series continued with two more big wins in the two FTOPS events held on Wednesday and Thursday.
Eddie Scharf's Pot-Limit HA (Hold ‘em and Omaha Hi in interchanging rounds) surpassed the $150,000 guarantee with a prize pool of over $180,000 and the Phil Gordon-hosted $300 rebuy/add-on Hold ‘em tournament saw an overlay of over $100,000 on the guarantee of $1m.
Neither pro ran deep into their own tournament, with the first-place honours going to ‘Siggen' and ‘stuckmyass' who clocked up $42,872 and $236,189 respectively.
Last night saw players take to the virtual felt in a NL Hold ‘em 6-max quadruple shootout, in which ‘OUSOONERS24' beat four consecutive tables of six to take a prize of $45,290. Event #18 was a $300 Razz event with a $150,000 guarantee. Still in running as we report, four players have a chance of taking the $38,749 first place prize. Marco Traniello, poker pro and husband of Jennifer Harman, finished seventh.
