June 2, 2010 (CAP PR Wire) — Microgaming (www.microgaming.com), the world’s largest provider of online gaming software, today announces that Triobet has successfully completed all the necessary legalities and has now acquired a gaming license for the newly licensed Estonian market.
Triobet is the Estonian facing arm of Nordic Gaming Group, which also owns Nordicbet and is powered by Microgaming. Triobet has become the third operator granted a license to provide internet gambling in the country, following its recent legislative changes surrounding online and long distance gambling.
The agreement with Microgaming will cement Triobet’s position as the market leading operator in Estonia. It will not only provide players in the region with state-of-the-art poker technology, but also peace of mind that they are playing in a secure environment, with all taxes calculated and accounted for safely.
Veiko Krünberg, Triobet spokesperson, says: “We are delighted to be working with Microgaming in this exciting new venture. Its market leading Poker proposition was the obvious choice for us as Estonia’s top operator. The existence of our local licenses in Estonia will bring added security for players, and they can take comfort in the fact that the local regulator has reviewed and approved the Triobet products and operations.”
Roger Raatgever, Microgaming CEO, says: “We have had a long and fruitful relationship with Nordic Gaming Group and are hugely excited to provide our Poker offering to the newly Estonian licensed Triobet. We are thrilled to be supporting the market leading operator in this region and look forward to developing this relationship.”
