iPhone and iPod Touch users can now analyse their poker play in much greater detail courtesy of a new application from American firm Deep Powder Software.
The Pro Poker Log application allows users to record and analyse previous games while tracking and organising playing times, location, blinds, rakes and tournament fees as well as the amount of money won or lost.
The application also features a graph to show progress over a specified period of time while statistics can be e-mailed and are automatically backed up when the device is synchronised with iTunes.
"I came to realise that the only way to become a winning player and make any money was to keep a log of wins, losses and notes from every game," said Gordon Craig, owner of Deep Powder Software.
"Then a player can analyse how they play and constantly learn from their own style."
Although Pro Poker Log records details and does calculations, it has a simple interface to make it easy for anyone to use. If a user does happen to run into a problem, there is also direct link to the tutorial page.
