Leading online poker room PokerStars.com has announced that its virtual school at PokerStars.net has signed up to be the official sponsor of the all-women High Heels Poker Tour (HHPT).
Based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the HHPT was created in 2007 to empower women that had a desire to become world-class poker players. Its next event, a $125 no re-entry poker tournament, will take place in Dania, Florida, at the Dania Jai-Alai from four o'clock in the evening local time.

The sponsorship deal includes support for the HHPT’s growing roster of tournaments including the stop at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel And Casino in Hollywood, Florida, early next month. In addition, the HHPT will be holding a grand finale $1,000 buy-in ladies event at the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure in January.
