October 23, 2008 (InfoPowa News) — Californian online gambler KellyJ's bank balance took a welcome positive boost in these tough times when she hit Bodog's progressive jackpot of $141,000 while playing Caribbean Stud Poker, reports Bodog Beat. On her third hand of the session she was dealt a royal flush.
 
It was the player's first big win and it left her temporarily speechless, she told Bodog staffers. "I couldn’t even believe it had happened. I was in shock. I've never won anything like that. And the dealer didn't even qualify so I thought I hadn't even won. But I guess with the progressive it doesn't even matter," she recounted.
 
Her first reaction was to record the win for posterity, so she grabbed a camera and took a shot of her computer screen. Then she hauled her partner excitedly over to the computer, saying "You need to come out here and look at this. I think I just hit the jackpot."
 
Still incredulous the next morning, her win was confirmed with a call from the casino.
 
"I feel blessed," the big winner said. "It’s one of those things that happens to you and it really changes your life in the most profound way. You know there were certain things that I wanted to take care of but couldn't and then suddenly this happens and it really … it really changed my life."
 
Those plans will include sorting out a few debts and looking after the needs of a sick friend
