Some of the scariest characters in movies and television are masked in a gentle, non-threatening package.
At first pass, Norman Bates is just a quirky innkeeper; and Cujo is just a cuddly St. Bernard. But by the time the credits are rolling, these characters have been exposed as wolves-in-sheep’s clothing.
Now we’re certainly not implying that Matt Cutts is slashing hotel guests in the shower or cornering innocent families in isolated houses, but he’s definitely a lot scarier than that innocent demeanor would lead you to believe.
