Churchill Downs & Bluff Media
Churchill Downs is, arguably, the most recognized horse racing track in the United States. Bluff Media is an online poker publishing company that runs a series of poker news sites and a print publication. So what do these two companies have in common?
No one seems to really know, but in February, 2012, Churchill Downs acquired the company for an undisclosed amount. At the time, Bluff co-founder Eddy Kleid had this to stay about the deal:
Churchill Downs has a long tradition of excellence and has continued to evolve and diversify its holdings over 138 years. This business combination makes sense for us, and it’s an opportunity we’re excited to have.
As of this writing, there’s no sign of Churchill Downs on Bluff and vice versa.
