iGaming North America hits Las Vegas in May

A new, North America-based igaming event hits Vegas next month, the first to be held in the U.S.
The 2011 iGaming North America conference is “an inaugural networking and educational event designed to introduce the land-based gaming businesses of North America to the global iGaming industry.”
Unlike iGaming Business events, this one isn’t free. But also unlike iGB events, this one’s in the United States, and so much more accessible to all North American-based affiliates. And CasinoAffiliatePrograms.com is sweetening the deal with a special 15% discount to Casino Affiliate Programs readers. Read on!
Regulatory theme
With “The Road to Regulation” as its theme, the conference is fittingly being held in what’s quickly becoming ground zero in the battle to regulate online gambling in the United States: Las Vegas, Nevada.
With the belief that online gaming regulation in the U.S. is imminent, iGaming North America seeks to help players, affiliates, executives, managers, and everyone else involved get a handle on the situation.
“Our aim is to provide a cost-effective networking environment that helps foster understanding regarding the potential impacts of regulation of internet gambling in the U.S. and Canada, and provides critical information regarding the players, resources, legislative framework and topics that are important to all of the parties that comprise the important commercial gaming segment,” iGNA organizers state.
Specifically, the event is being geared as a crossroads between existing land-based operators and the rival, and quickly developing, online gambling industry. Given that, there’s something for all involved parties, including land-based casinos, financial and legal reps, government reps and lottery providers, tech providers, and yes, affiliates, too.
Schedule
With an impressive list of attendees and speakers that includes, just for starters, Howard Lederer, Jan Jones of Caesars Entertainment, and Leslie Lohse of the California Tribal Business Alliance, the schedule is full of can’t-miss panels and sessions.
iGaming North America also offers tons of educational sessions, in the form of panel discussions, lectures, case studies, and basic networking. Many sessions and events center on the regulatory struggle in the U.S., but many other topics are covered, as well, with sessions including but definitely not limited to:
•    “Internet Poker – The Insider’s View”;
•    “Exploring Niches in Alternative Gaming”;
•    “Affiliate Marketing Primer”;
•    “Online Games and Social Networks”;
•    “Maximizing Retention through Loyalty Programs”; and
•    “The New Challenge for Online Poker – Playing the Hand That’s Been Dealt”.
Special sessions will also focus on marketing, payment processing, and igaming supplier concerns.  There’s even a welcome reception at Emeril Lagasse’s Table 10 at The Palazzo Las Vegas. Click here for the full schedule.
Sponsors
The event is being sponsored by igaming consultancy services BolaVerde Media Group and The Innovation Group, as well as Lewis and Roca, a U.S.-based business law firm that “supports casino operators, suppliers, state and local governments, communities, businesses, non-profit organizations, tribal governments and others in addressing casino gaming law, including Native American and riverboat casinos, racinos, interactive and mobile gaming, poker and interstate horse racing.”
