There’s a reason why Internet bingo affiliate marketing is gaining popularity and a huge new market reach in recent years. Quite simply, it’s a fun, simple game that appeals to all ages.
And the market is proving that’s true. Take Bloomberg’s report that Internet bingo revenue has risen more than 20 percent in 2009 and 2010, “totaling about $1.3 billion by the end of 2009 and $1.6 billion in 2010,” as evidence of this.
Here at CAP, we recently discussed the three main advantages that bingo affiliate marketing gives casino affiliates: Growing popularity, low competition, and strong niche potential.
Today, we’ll expand on those reasons and tell you how to start a casino business using bingo affiliate marketing.
How to start a casino business with online bingo
While starting a casino business shouldn’t be an easy task, it shouldn’t really be intimidating, either.
First off, let us state: If this is your first casino site, and if you’re picking bingo, you should probably be choosing this niche because you really like bingo, or you play it a lot, or have some other connection to it. While the above three reasons for bingo affiliate marketing are strong no matter who uses them, beginners will always want to focus on their strongest interests.
That being said, if online bingo is your preferred type of online gambling, then a bingo affiliate business is the perfect way to get started.
First steps
Starting a casino business with a bingo niche utilizes the same steps as starting any other affiliate marketing site — except, you already know your niche.
From there, simply follow the basic steps to setting up a site:
1. Keyword research. Using Google’s keyword tool, determine what keyword phrase is best-suited to your new site. The winner will be a phrase that has at least two or three words, uses the word “bingo”, and has relatively low competition. (Don’t worry, there are lots of these. Check out Google’s keyword tool and see for yourself.)

2. Domain name. Go to a domain registrar and find out if your chosen niche is available as a domain name. If it is, grab it — and some variations on it, just to be safe. (Quantity shouldn’t be a problem; domains don’t cost much.)
3. Website hosting. Set up web hosting around your new domain, so you can build a site. It’s probably smartest — not to mention easiest — to choose a domain registrar that offers hosting, too. Particularly if you’re new to site building. (Also, you’ll probably want to stick with WordPress as your first site builder.)

4. Website set-up. Using WordPress — or another content management system (CMS) of your choice — pick a site design and start building content.

From here, the usual website building is advised: Create daily, fresh content; make sure you’re focusing on your niche; target the kind of audience who’s specifically interested in your niche.
