Google’s latest SEO algorithm update, Google Fresh, is built upon Caffeine—the infrastructure Google completed last year—which is designed to index fresher content quicker and provide users with “the most up-to-date results.”
Translation: If you don’t implement timely content updates on your site, this change might have a negative effect. However, if you do provide updates on current events and other timely topics, this could be great for your rankings.
