February 9, 2012: Everleaf Shuts Out Americans
Almost a year after Black Friday there were still a few sites that were willing to work with American players, including the Everleaf poker network. In late February, the DOJ asked Everleaf to shut down its dealings with the American players and the company complied. This follows with a trend of poker companies going out of their way to work with the Feds and play by the rules. After all, there’s no telling who will be approving those gaming licenses in the future.
