Golden Star Network saw its glory days in the years before its parent company, Golden Star Group, was sold to Vegas Partner Lounge in 2005. Though Vegas Partner Lounge said it would keep the company’s unique character intact, it didn’t work out that way. Within a few years, the affiliate program was making news for all the wrong reasons, namely predatory T&C language. By 2008, it earned a rogue label from almost every affiliate advocacy group. At that point, all good memories were gone.
