March 29, 2010 (CAP Newswire) – Just a few months away from the launch of the latest installment of the World Series of Poker (WSOP) in Las Vegas, most online poker rooms have already begun qualifier tournaments. But, as usual, much of the talk is about Full Tilt Poker’s all-out level of player incentives for the biggest poker event of the year.
“Perhaps the online poker site’s most creative promotion to send players to Las Vegas is the $1 Main Event Seat,” writes Tom Jenkins at Poker New Daily, describing the world’s second-largest online poker brand’s WSOP qualifiers. “Every Sunday from April 4th to June 27th, $1 buy-in tournaments will feature at least five $12,000 WSOP Main Event prize packages up for grabs. Players can literally turn 100 pennies into WSOP glory and a massive field is expected to turn out for each running. The tournaments kick off at 13:30 ET.”
There’s also a special WSOP qualifier happening between June 14th and June 20th, concluding with a special 150-Seat guarantee tourney. And the other qualifiers range from an exclusive, $1.8 million, $640 buy-in tournament to a host of lower priced satellites starting as low as $1.
