Public relations and events firm Lyceum Media announced that last Wednesday's successful Fire and Ice Cabaret event was the biggest and most extravagant in its seven-year history.
Held at London's Hippodrome, Fire and Ice featured live cabaret performers including burlesque, comedy and music acts alongside aerial shows entertaining i-gaming industry leaders from around the globe.
The annual event is held during the International Casino Exhibition (ICE) with the 2008 edition being sponsored by Gambling.com, NextGen Gaming ESL-Asia, Lyceum Media and Bluff Europe.
"This party was a great opportunity for us to thank all of our friends and partners in this great industry," said Matt Davey, Chief Executive Officer for games supplier NextGen Gaming.
"We had high expectations for the night and I'm glad to say they were exceeded."
"We have just launched a new interactive site, so we had plenty to celebrate," said James McBriar, Managing Director of Gambling.com, a search-driven portal and publication for gaming enthusiasts that also hosted an exclusive VIP bar behind the stage.
"This was an excellent opportunity to toast our new venture with our colleagues and partners. The organisers made sure that our guests got the star treatment."
ESL-Asia, an online and interactive gaming company specialising in the Asian market, hosted the event's Ice Shot Bars that drew partiers to the top floor to enjoy body shots with the company's TilaPoker girls.
"It was a great platform to entertain our current business partners and to meet so many people interested in the Asian market," said Jeff Mann from ESL-Asia.
Fire and Ice began as an informal gathering of a few dozen i-gaming executives that had been attending ICE but has since grown into one of the industry's premier social events outgrowing every past venue.
