FeltStars Poker Room on the Merge Gaming Network is closing down, according to an announcement released today.
While no reason was given for the shutdown, company officials do a have a reimbursement plan for players already in place. So far, there’s no words on how affiliate payments will be handled.
Here’s what they had to say on the company’s website:
As most players already know FeltStars has operated as a partner of the Merge Gaming Network whom is licensed by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission, so rest assured that the Merge Gaming Network has processed and holds all player funds. Your balance is securely held by Merge Gaming and they will assist in transferring your funds to another partner.
FeltStars was never really a huge player in the online poker industry, but tried to differentiate themselves from the pack by focusing more in player experience. (As is indicated by the fact the they actually have a player repayment plan at all.)
More than anything, FeltStars was known for its supersized payer bonuses. At one point new players could get a 150% signup bonus up to $750.
If you’ve got any information about FeltStars’ abrupt closure, we’d love to hear it. Share your insights in the comments section below.
