FanDuel Signs On as Carolina Panthers’ Official Betting Partner

FanDuel is signing on as the official betting partner of the Carolina Panthers football team. The move comes just days ahead of the official launch of regulated sports betting in North Carolina. It’s a move that helps widen FanDuel’s footprint into a regional market that’s certain to see plenty of sports betting action.

Under the terms of the deal, FanDuel will be integrating its brand and associated content across the full spectrum of Carolina Panthers’ digital properties and across Bank of America Stadium, the team’s home field.

To help launch the partnership, FanDuel TV’s “Up & Adams” with Kay Adams will be broadcasting today from Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte. Guests on the show include Luke Kuechly and various members of the Panthers organization.

Mike Raffensperger, Chief Commercial Officer, FanDuel did not hold back in hyping the partnership in a recent press release saying, “Bringing FanDuel to sports fans across North Carolina is an important moment for our business, and we are thrilled to be able to work with the Carolina Panthers to introduce their fanbase to America’s #1 Sportsbook. We look forward to supporting the team next season and to engaging the passionate sports fans across North Carolina with our product.”

On the other side of the deal, Kristi Coleman, Carolina Panthers president was also feeling the hype adding, “We are thrilled to welcome FanDuel as an Official Sports Betting Partner. As we look ahead to the 2024 season, we’re excited about the opportunities this partnership presents to deliver unique and engaging experiences to our fans while they are in North Carolina.”

Every time any part of the NFL partners with a sports betting operator it’s worth noting that the league fought pretty successfully against regulated sports betting for decades. Now that sports betting is legal, and profitable, the NFL has found that sports betting is great for business and have embraced it accordingly.
