Next month, on January 26, 2011, at 9pm, the 10th annual Fire & ICE, “iGaming’s hottest party of the year,” kicks off in London, to informally launch the London Affiliate Conference festivities, which get underway the next day, January 27.
Whether or not it’s the “hottest”, it’s certainly the edgiest — Fire & ICE has the reputation for offering provocative, erotic stage shows and themes, and this year’s installment, with its cabaret theme, promises to push that reputation even further.
And, for the third consecutive year, GTECH G2, a leading, Canadian-based provider of Internet poker, sports betting, bingo, and casino games, is one of the main sponsors of the party. “Before the doors open to other guests at 9pm, GTECH G2 will host a VIP reception for their invited guests,” the company has announced.
“We’re very proud to be associated with the most popular party on the industry calendar,” William Scott, a GTECH G2 vice president, stated in a news release. “It’s an excellent opportunity for us to socialize with our business partners and for us to give something back to our industry.”
The Fire & ICE event traces back to ten years ago, when Lyceum Media partners Michael Caselli and Jodie Thind “decided to host their own party exclusively for their friends in iGaming – one that would be more fun and more entertaining.” Per Caselli, the list of attendees has grown from about 60 to almost 2,000 in those ten years.
The party is now held each year, scheduled between the ICE trade show and the London Affiliate Conference.
This year’s “Fire & ICE: Unmasked” party will be held on January 26, 2011 at Gilgamesh, Camden Town, London. Guest registration isn’t yet open, but sponsorship opportunities and VIP tables are available. Visit www.fireandiceparty.com for full details.
