January 15, 2009 (InfoPowa News) — Cryptologic's loss is Ongame Network's gain was the story in the poker news this week as Bwin's online poker subsidiary signed up the Betsafe sportsbook. Betsafe's poker offering was previously powered by CryptoLogic.
Betsafe is one of the leading suppliers of online gaming products worldwide, with more than 150,000 customers in over 100 different countries. Since its official launch in January 2006, the company has experienced substantial growth, offering its customers sportsbetting, casino, and poker action.
The reasons for the switch are not yet clear, but may be linked with Cryptologic's decision to cease operating as a standalone poker network and team up with G-Tech-Boss Media's International Poker Network instead.
