Commission Lounge is altering their terms and conditions to make lifetime revenues a thing of the past. It’s a move that isn’t likely to sit well with the affiliates who have been sending business to bets 10, CasinoMaxi and Casino Metropol. (Please note that Commission Lounge is not affiliated with Affiliate Lounge.)
The new payment structure is set to go into effect on September 1 and were announced in an e-mail which read:
According to this change, life time commission rule will no longer be valid and our affiliates will get commission from their users for only 24 months after users’ registration dates.
The aim of this change is to maintain the continuity of new user sign ups to our brands.
The old users will automatically be removed from the system after 24 months since their sign up dates.
There’s no word yet on how this new policy actually, “maintains the continuity new user sign ups,” but it’s pretty clear how it impacts casino affiliates. Affiliate partners who’ve spent time and money sending business to Commission Lounge’s casinos for years can no longer count on the revenue they’ve rightfully earned.
Worse yet, they may wind up spending more time and money converting players that were already theirs under the old T&C.
