December 6, 2008 (InfoPowa News) — Poker pro, businessman and television presenter David "Devilfish" Ulliott has shrewdly chosen the end-of-year shopping highpoint to launch his new poker coaching DVD titled "How to Become a Poker Millionaire".
The title will remind U.K. poker fans of Ulliott's high-profile television program with the same branding that ran earlier this year, in which he intensively trained four losing online poker players for a month to try to turn them into winners. The players went through testing and practice under Ulliott's online eagle eye, and were then pitted against each other, with one being eliminated in each episode of the show.
The prize for the eventual winner was an all-expenses-paid sponsored seat in the 2008 World Series of Poker in Las Vegas.
Ulliott has now expanded on his coaching role by developing a very professional tuition DVD which was released this week in the U.K. and incorporates all the episodes of the TV show, plus an extra hour of tips from top international pros such as Phil Ivey, Doyle Brunson, and Phil Hellmuth.
Also included in the DVD are Ulliott's own poker rules on playing the right starting cards, calculating odds, assessing online opponents, dealing with tilt, timing for aggression, when to fold, and disciplined bankroll management.
Ulliott's qualifications are widely respected; in addition to holding a WSOP bracelet, he has managed to accumulate career winnings in the game of over $5 million, and he has been a participant in many poker tourneys around the world.
"With Christmas just around the corner, this is the perfect stocking filler for players of all levels," Ulliott enthused at the DVD launch this week. "Pop it on when your 'nan and crazy uncle have been at the sherry and prepare to have fun!"
