February 13, 2009 (InfoPowa News) — The latest in virtual cities, ICyou.se's Interactive City, has signed an agreement with the Hong Kong-based Bele gambling group that will foster cooperation and promotion for both in the Chinese market.
ICyou CEO Lars-Erik Ottenvall says the immediate goal is to open up an evaluation website in China to speed up up both revenue flow and to operationally evaluate the full-service offering that Interactive City plans to offer to the rest of the world in 2010.
"The long experience of the Asian market for gaming and gambling community that Bele Group has will add value to ICyou's Interactive City," says Ottenvall. "Bele Group will help brand Interactive City as the only place where virtual activities of users turn into real value."
Simon Chang, CEO of Bele Group, commented: "We are very excited to add our experience from the gaming industry into ICyou's unique virtual world. We will be able to integrate both our own developed solutions for the Chinese gaming community as well as localize other parts of the development for the Chinese and Asian markets."
Interactive City is a virtual world that will support a combined virtual and real life economy, with a free market economy. It will be open to both internal as well as to external developers of online business ventures. ICyou AB is a Sweden-based company formed in 2007 by entrepreneur Fredrik Nilsson. The business idea is essentially a global media and marketing concept based on the international trend towards social networking, coupled with businesses' imperative to find novel, effective marketing channels to reach the community market.
ICYou's virtual world, Interactive City, uses advanced computer technology to provide an interactive world with quality graphic capabilities to offer opportunities to build trademarks, advertise, sell products and offer services. It will include citizens, communications, educational institutions, rules and laws, entertainment, social venues, shops, businesses, officials and a free market economy. Residents will be able to buy virtual apartments in the Internet city and enjoy its many facilities.
Bele Group management boasts 20 years of experience in software development within the gaming segment specifically aimed at the Asian markets, with products such as like mahjong, Cho-Dai-Di, Do-Di-Chu, Level Up and Taiwan 13 cards. The group's games will be made available with a particulaly Asian flavour to Interactive City users. In addition, Bele's experience in building virtual communities for the Chinese market and will be made available to ICyou.
