Dan Fleyshman – Victory Poker
When it comes to gambling operators, Calvin Ayre is the undisputed king of the millionaire playboys. But when it comes to poker sites, Dan Fleyshman is the guy you really want to be be watching.
Fleyshman is the 30-year-old former CEO of Victory Poker and his list of business and poker accomplishments is already truly staggering. At age 23, before he got into poker, he became one of the youngest CEOs of a publicly traded company in business history with a retail clothing line, but his accolades hardly end there.
Like most of the other mega-successful affiliates we’ve looked at, Fleyshman turned his passion into a business. Besides running Victory (until it was shut down on Black Friday) he is a world renowned poker player.
Fleyshman regularly sits in on major tournaments and regularly takes home five and six figure pots from major tournaments. That’s given him plenty of industry credibility that would take anyone else years to build.
He’s been able to weather economic downturns by keeping his business interests very diversified. Besides his poker interests, he’s run retail clothing and beverage start-ups that have all done very well.
Fleyshman lives the lavish life of a raconteur, but he also gives back quite a bit, too. A couple years ago he established a group called the Model Citizen Fund that fills backpacks with school supplies for kids in need.
