March 12, 2009 (InfoPowa News) — Phil Galfond's new online poker training venture Bluefire Poker and the U.K. 3D Internet poker site PKR.com have agreed to collaborate for the benefit of the latter's players.
PKR.com will act as Bluefire Poker's exclusive partner across Europe, with Bluefire pros providing regular and original strategy content for both the PKR.com website and PKR TV. PKR's 2.5 million players will also be able to purchase Bluefire Poker subscriptions using loyalty points in the PKR Shop.
Started in January 2009 by WSOP-bracelet winner and respected poker pro Galfond and entrepreneur Billy Murphy, Bluefire Poker has grown rapidly and is expected to become the top training resource on the Web due to a catalogue of high-quality material and a thriving community.
Simon Prodger, PKR.com Marketing Director, said, "We're delighted that PKR.com will be Bluefire's exclusive European partner as we fully expect them to become the most interesting and important web-based poker training service available."
Bluefire Poker founder Billy Murphy added: "Our relationship with PKR is exciting in that it enables us to be involved with another company that is dedicated to their customers, and looks to exceed their expectations, which is a rare quality in our industry.
"Bluefire Poker was created to drastically speed up the learning curve for players at all levels, by providing the highest quality training resource on the Net. If someone wants to learn how to make a little side income, our pros will show them how. If someone is motivated to make a substantial amount of money from poker, our team will help them do that too. We're a personal training program for poker players."
