BetMGM is partnering with the NFL to provide extensive sports betting content and data during Football Night America (FNIA), the popular pre-game segment of the even more popular Sunday Night Football. It’s a move that will put BetMGM’s logo, and content, in front of a massive US audience every week.
The centerpiece of the deal will be a segment of the show hosted by former NFL quarterback Chris Simms and sports betting and fantasy pioneer Matthew Berry. Simms and Berry will break down lines, follow storylines, and provide picks on the pre-game show.
BetMGM odds will be also be featured on a ticker during FNIA. Real-time betting odds will also be broadcast on the Peacock Sunday Night Football Final, a Sunday night wrap-up show covering the entire slate of Sunday NFL games.
The deal is a huge branding opportunity for BetMGM, an opportunity that was not lost on Matt Prevost, Chief Revenue Officer, BetMGM. In a recent statement to the media, Prevost spoke about the deal saying, “It is a tremendous opportunity to partner with the talented team at NBC Sports and have the ability to engage with football fans nationwide. We look forward to delivering NBC viewers our BetMGM trading team insights as well as entertaining segments that showcase the excitement of betting with BetMGM.”
Will McIntosh, President, NBC Sports Next & Fandango, chimed in on Prevost’s statement adding, “As we continue to innovate within the rapidly growing sports-betting marketplace, this new partnership with BetMGM will allow NBC Sports to engage more fans across multiple platforms. We’re looking forward to collaborating with BetMGM and are excited about the future activation opportunities this partnership will present.”
BetMGM’s deal with the NFL covers the entirety of the 2022 season and the 2023 NFL Draft.
