bet365 is a gaming operator that knows that it’s always a good idea to root for the home team. That’s one of the reasons of the reasons they just signed a sponsorship deal with the Denver Nuggets basketball team and Colorado Avalanche hockey team. Both teams are based in Denver, where bet365 is opening a new US headquarters that’s expected to employ as many as 2000 employees within the next two years.
By cementing their business relationship with the Nuggets and Avalanche, bet365 is also making a very valuable connection with the teams’ owner, Kroenke Sports and Entertainment (KSE). KSE is also the owner of Altitude+, a streaming service that runs games from both teams (and bypasses a long-running feud with local cable operators that’s prevented Nuggets and Avalanche games from running on local television). Customers who open new bet365 accounts will receive free months of Altitude+ as part of their bonus offer.
Michael Ceilley, SVP of Partnership Marketing & Media Sales for Kroenke Sports & Entertainment touted the sponsorship in a recent press release saying, “We are thrilled to welcome bet365 to Denver at such an exciting moment for the city, especially for its sports fans. Colorado has wholeheartedly embraced the U.S. sports betting space. Our elite, title-contending teams, and the passionate fan bases of Nuggets Nation and Avs Faithful, are a perfect match for a leading sports betting brand with 100 million worldwide customers.”
The Nuggets and Avalanche join the Charlotte Hornets (basketball), San Antonio Spurs (basketball), Washington Commanders (football), Cleveland Guardians (baseball), and Colorado Rockies (baseball) on bet365’s roster of sponsorship partners.
