Bally Technologies is the latest recipient of a coveted Alderney Gambling Control Commission (AGCC) license. The new license is just one of many moves Bally is making in an attempt to grab a bigger piece of the worldwide igaming market.
The company’s new license is what’s known as a core service associate e-gaming certificate, which allows them to partner with other gaming companies.
Besides the Alderney license, Bally Technologies also received the go ahead from the Nevada Gaming Control Board for intrastate gaming operations. Bally Technologies won’t actually be running gaming sites, but will be supplying software and other back-end services.
Gaming industry news sources are also reporting that Bally Technologies has applied for a Gibraltar gaming license, too. If true, the combination of licenses will open up some pretty vast, new market for the company.
It’s expected that any moves the company makes will be based on the Chiligaming B2B gaming platform that Ballys purchased earlier in the year.
