The Bad Beat Jackpot at GTECH G2's International Poker Network has exceeded the €300,000 milestone – and then some. The jackpot is awarded if a great hand is beaten by a better one – for example, a player holding four-of-a-kind loses to a straight flush.
"We boosted the jackpot last week so that the next winner would get at least €100,000," said Per Karlsson, Head of Poker GTECH G2. "The last time our Bad Beat jackpot was hit was shortly after it topped €400K so I have a feeling it won't be long before we're making another player feel better about losing with a winning hand!"
The hand winner will, at present, receive over €50,000 with the same to be split between the other players at the table. By the time it is hit, who knows how large the jackpot will be?
Last time IPN's jackpot was unleashed it was a huge sum of €412,000 in August.
