Day 3 of the AU$10,500 Aussie Millions Main Event concluded yesterday with 28 players left in contention. The chiplead changed hands throughout the day and eventually ended up with Rajkumar Ramakrishnan.
One of the chip leaders on Day 3 was Annette Obrestad, perhaps the most dangerous player left in the field after Patrik Antonius was eliminated in 41st place. Annette outlasted Joe Hachem, Kelly Kim, Scotty Nguyen and Clonie Gowen to survive Day 3 but she couldn't make it through Day 4 to the final table.
Annette made a re-raise bluff for Zach Fellows's entire stack, a significant pot at that stage of the tournament. Fellows tanked before calling with 55, much to the Norwegian's shock and disgust. She had only Ace-Ten and lost the race, decimating her stack. Later in the day she received a 5-minute penalty for using her mobile phone at the table, then she was eliminated.
