Earlier this year SEO oracle Matt Cutts decided he was going to take a break from the SEO grind for a few months. That worked out so well, for Matt anyways, that he’s extended his break until sometime in 2015.
If Cutts’ break is such a good idea, how about an SEO break for the rest of us?
It really wouldn’t have to be anything too major, maybe just a one-year moratorium and Penguins, Pandas, Pigeons and whatever other crazy schemes the big brains at Google have cooked up. If nothing else, an SEO break would give web publishers a chance to actually focus on that quality content they hear so much about while sweating over Page Rankings.
