MONTREAL, QC. October 28, 2008 — The nominations for the CAP Awards 2009 have been named, and Income Access (http://www.incomeaccess.com) has been nominated for three different awards. These nominations include Best Casino Affiliate Program, Best Overall Affiliate Program, and Best iGaming affiliate Network. In its second year, the CAP Awards celebrates and recognizes excellence in the online gaming industry.
"It is a great pleasure to be nominated for these awards," said Nicky Senyard, CEO of Income Access. "We’ve been working closely with the i-gaming industry since 2002, and have always been committed to helping our partners achieve success. To be recognized for our efforts is very exciting."
This year, Income Access undertook a number of initiatives to improve its quality of services. Most recently, the company released PPC tools so that affiliates can take advantage of the new Google AdWords policy that allows online gambling ads in the U.K. The company also partnered with a number of high-profile partners, such as Cantor Gaming and Tombola, and integrated a new prepaid card payment system for affiliates.
The CAP Awards will feature eight different award categories, with 25 Awards in total. Categories include Best Affiliate Program, Best Affiliate Manager, Best Overall Affiliate Manager, Best Affiliate, Best Overall Affiliate, Best iGaming Affiliate Network, Best Payment System for Affiliates, and Best iGaming Software.
The CAP Awards are the only in the online gaming industry where members of the affiliate community nominates the various candidates. The nomination process is a two-stage process, and ran from April to September 2008. Affiliate nominations are collected via www.casinoaffiliateprograms.com and www.pokeraffiliateprograms.com and share around 75% of the closing result. An independent judiciary comprised of 10 respected operators, affiliates, and vendors then use their industry insight to ensure that nominations are well-placed and the awards operate a clean and unbiased system.
The voting process then takes place from September to December 2008. Votes are collected online, and are strictly monitored to ensure that each person casts only one vote. Members of the online gaming community can vote for nominees at http://www.capawards.com/nominations.php.
A long-time partner of the online gaming industry, Income Access offers three types of affiliate marketing solutions. Managing an affiliate network of more than 17,000 affiliates, Income Access provides its network members with in-depth tracking reports and dedicated support. The same software that powers its network is also available to be white labeled, and can be branded and customized to meet the needs of operators who prefer to run their own affiliate program.
Winners of the CAP Awards 2009 will be announced at a black-tie event to be held on Thursday 29th January 2009 at an exclusive location to be announced shortly. Registration to attend this event will also be opened shortly.
