Traditional SEO Will Continue to Wither
Though Google is a pretty secretive company, it’s also one that tends to telegraph its punches.
Over the past few years it’s made no secret of its distaste for the SEO business and updates like Panda, Penguin and (to a lesser extent) Hummingbird just hammer the point home. Throw in the loss of keyword data to secure search and distaste turns into a vendetta.
It’s pretty clear that Google’s war on SEO is a long-term strategy that will only get more aggressive in 2014.
None this means that traditional SEO is going away forever, but every affiliate should be ready to adjust their SEO strategies to adapt to new rules.
