What are some of the thoughts and opinions from Affiliates on this new UK/EU Cookie Law that goes into effect on May 26th, 2012?

I read it won’t affect iGaming sites according to an affiliate on GPWA:
This was changed to “implied consent” late on (in UK only), so there is not really an issue though it puts UK out of step with Europe (as if that matters):
