Affiliates, beware. If you promote Affiliates United, it might be time to reconsider.
October 19, 2011 at 9:42 pm #819085MissMMemberThat’s a shame, always love working with them, also got a sweet deal now
October 20, 2011 at 2:57 am #819087jncnetMemberIt definitely sounds like the beginning of the end for them, or maybe just a really hard patch. They are a pretty big company, I don’t see them going out of business anytime soon. I’m glad they aren’t my main affiliate program lol
October 20, 2011 at 2:31 pm #819092mobvalMemberThey used to be good.
October 21, 2011 at 10:22 am #819098rialto.melinaMemberThis is not a program I can promote until they sort out the link and banner problems
October 21, 2011 at 1:42 pm #819105lesclothMemberIt’s a very strange and worrying situation, but William Hill is too big to fail by such an incidence. I trust next week everything will be back to normal.
October 21, 2011 at 7:36 pm #819110AnonymousInactiveIt looks absolutely massive.
So many rumors flying around on what happened, and how it all went down – but for everyone to walk it must have been pretty serious.
I can’t see WH being dead in the water for long, they are just too big of a brand, with cash to be able to move and start up. But then again.. who has the data?
October 21, 2011 at 10:07 pm #819111AnonymousInactiveTheres no way they are going under, William Hill is huge, sounds like a big misunderstanding with the walkout and maybe a lot needs to get sorted but in no way it is the end.

I agree!!!
October 22, 2011 at 1:52 am #819113chazMemberHuge means nothing anymore. Myspace was huge social site, yet they faded away. Once around 2000 ICQ was big, yet faded away as well.
You can’t expect punters to sit and wait, while WH figures their stuff together. With competition so fierce these days, even a day of trouble is too much.
I wonder how all of these rumors are affecting their stocks!
October 22, 2011 at 10:33 am #819121AnonymousInactiveI don’t think you can compare a social media site to a bookmaker which has been operating for 70+ years and made over £150,000,000 profit last year and is the largest bookmaker in the UK

True, it’s not comparable, but all I wanna say is that people don’t care about huge anymore.
October 22, 2011 at 4:22 pm #819124rialto.melinaMemberwilliam hill land based will remain stable but the online version reputation right now is not the best. They will have to work hard and spend more money to fix it.

Agreed, it’s to very separate businesses with different management, staff etc……they have a long way to come back but at least they have the brand and money behind them so although it doesn’t look great I am sure they can afford to buy their way back……also are players even aware, has this affected them? Certainly affiliates know and there is some definite damage there that needs rectifying
October 23, 2011 at 11:52 am #819138igamingeliteMemberAnybody has some news on this topic ? I am really getting mixed feelings right now about the situation of William Hill in the online business, especially Affiliates United.
If anybody got news / inside views, pls kindly share.
